Rolex Deputy Boutique Director (13550)
Since opening in Spring 2025, the Rolex Boutique on London's iconic Old Bond Street has established itself as one of the brand's most significant flagship locations. The Watches of Switzerland Group is seeking an exceptional Deputy Boutique Director to support the leadership of this prestigious showroom and play a key role in its continued success.
The history of Rolex is inextricably linked to London, where the company was founded in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf, making this flagship location even more significant.
Position Overview
The Deputy Boutique Director will work in partnership with the Boutique Director to lead a team offering professional expertise in an elegant setting that promotes a sense of harmony, discretion and intimacy with the brand. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional client experiences, driving commercial performance and maintaining the highest operational standards across the boutique.
As the Boutique Director's second-in-command, you will lead by example on the sales floor, develop and inspire a high-performing team, and ensure the seamless operation of a world-class luxury retail environment. The showroom features extensive Sales and After-Sales areas, including an accredited service centre and a dedicated Rolex Certified Pre-Owned space.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the Boutique Director in delivering a client-centric strategy that ensures exceptional client experience at every touchpoint.
- Lead and inspire the team through visible, hands-on leadership, ensuring the highest standards of service and hospitality are consistently delivered.
- Act as a senior point of escalation and assume leadership responsibility in the absence of the Boutique Director.
- Coach, support and develop colleagues to maximise individual and team performance.
- Build meaningful and lasting relationships with clients, creating memorable experiences that drive loyalty and advocacy.
- Play an active role on the sales floor, leading by example and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
- Support the delivery of commercial objectives through effective performance management, client development and business planning.
- Optimise hospitality standards to create unique and memorable client interactions that reflect the Rolex brand.
- Ensure operational excellence across both front and back of house, maintaining consistency with established procedures and standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance ways of working and share best practice.
- Ensure compliance with all Watches of Switzerland Group and Rolex policies, processes and operating standards.
- Partner with the management team to attract, retain and develop exceptional talent.
- Support succession planning and execute development plans to build future capability within the boutique.
- Provide regular coaching, feedback, recognition and development opportunities to drive engagement and performance.
- Work collaboratively with Rolex and internal stakeholders to support boutique initiatives, events and brand objectives.
Role Requirements/Attributes
- Significant experience in a Senior Retail Management role – ideally within a premium/luxury brand
- Experience in managing and developing a high performing team.
- Passionate about retail and delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Experience of demonstrating successful business growth.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Commercially focussed.
- Experience of working with a CRM system.
